Overview

SudoStacks respects your privacy and aims to collect only the information reasonably needed to operate this website, provide support, respond to inquiries, and discuss custom plugin-development projects.

This privacy policy applies to the SudoStacks website, StorePulse Free, support communications, and custom plugin requests submitted through the services page.

Information collected through the website

This website is hosted using GitHub Pages. When you visit the site, GitHub may process standard technical information needed to serve the website, such as:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Requested pages and files
  • Date and time of requests
  • Basic security and server-log information

SudoStacks does not currently operate its own website analytics system.

Contact and custom development requests

When you submit the custom-plugin request form or contact SudoStacks by email, you may provide information such as:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company or website
  • Your project type
  • Your estimated budget and timeline
  • Your business requirements
  • Existing plugins, systems, or integrations
  • Any additional information you choose to provide

This information is used to review your request, communicate with you, clarify requirements, prepare a possible scope or estimate, and determine whether SudoStacks can assist with the project.

Please do not submit passwords, API keys, payment-card information, or other highly sensitive credentials through the contact form.

StorePulse Free

StorePulse Free performs store-health checks locally inside your WordPress and WooCommerce installation.

The free version does not send your product, customer, order, inventory, review, or store-health scan data to SudoStacks servers.

Telemetry

StorePulse Free does not currently include SudoStacks usage tracking, behavioral analytics, or automatic telemetry.

Local storage

StorePulse may temporarily store scan results inside your own WordPress database or cache so that results can be displayed within the plugin dashboard.

That local information remains under the control of the website owner and is subject to the site's own privacy, retention, and security practices.

Cookies and analytics

The SudoStacks website does not currently use its own advertising cookies or behavioral analytics cookies.

Third-party services used to host or process portions of the website may use cookies or similar technologies for security, fraud prevention, service operation, or session management.

Third-party services

SudoStacks may use third-party services to operate the website and receive messages. These may include:

  • GitHub Pages for website hosting
  • Web3Forms for processing contact and custom-plugin request forms
  • Gmail or Google services for receiving and responding to email
  • Other future payment, licensing, support, or software-delivery services

These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

If StorePulse Pro or other paid products later use licensing, payment, account, update, or analytics services, this policy will be updated to describe those services.

How long information is kept

Contact and project-request information may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Discuss or estimate a project
  • Maintain business and support records
  • Resolve disputes or prevent abuse
  • Meet applicable legal or accounting requirements

Information that is no longer reasonably needed may be deleted, subject to technical, legal, and backup limitations.

Security

SudoStacks takes reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the website and email. However, no internet transmission, email system, or storage service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should avoid sending confidential credentials or sensitive personal information unless a secure method has been arranged.

Your choices and requests

You may contact SudoStacks to ask about personal information you previously submitted, request a correction, or ask for deletion where reasonably and legally possible.

Because SudoStacks is currently a small independent project, privacy requests are handled manually by email.

Children's privacy

SudoStacks products and services are intended for businesses, website administrators, developers, and adult users. They are not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated as SudoStacks adds products, services, payment systems, licensing tools, analytics, or other website functionality.

The updated date shown at the top of this page will be changed when material revisions are made.
